Navistar Inc. said Tuesday it will remain the exclusive provider of Class 8 tractors for truckload carrier Heartland Express.

North Carolina’s secretary of transportation is supporting a plan by Virginia to put tolls on Interstate 95 near the border of the two states, the Associated Press reported.

Refrigerated truckload carrier Marten Transport’s fourth-quarter net income fell to $4.3 million, or 19 cents a share, from $5.8 million, or 27 cents, a year ago.

Canadian National Railway Co. said its fourth-quarter net income rose to C$582 million, or $1.23 per share, from C$573 million or C$1.21 per share a year earlier.

Refrigerated truckload carrier Marten Transport’s second-quarter net income rose 29.1% to $4.5 million, or 20 cents a share, from $3.5 million, or 16 cents, a year ago.
