Daimler Trucks North America said it has reached new three-year collective bargaining agreements covering union workers at its truck plant in Portland, Ore. Trailer maker Wabash National Corp. said it has begun production on 350 new refrigerated van trailers for Frozen Food Express Industries, to be completed by September. The past 10 months have seen a precipitous decline in the quality of driver applicants. Truck dealership Rush Enterprises has signed an agreement to sell its John Deere construction equipment business for $37 million. Truck maker Paccar Inc. said it has received certification from the California Air Resources Board for its Paccar MX 12.9 liter engine, its first heavy-duty engine. |
